Ok, i bought GPL... they say it's the best f1 car simulator... but it came out in 1998 ... How can i bring it to the top ? Follow me in this journey...GPL: from ZERO to the TOP !

GPL.EXE UNPDATE FROM 1.0 TO 1.2 To update executable file gpl.exe to rev 1.2, download gpl_12ita.exe, run it and follow the instructions.NO-CD PATCH To run GPL without having the CD in the CD-player, download gpl_nocd.zip, extract its files into gpl dir and run gpl12_ITA.exe file.UPDATE FOR DIRECT3D Download gpl_d3d.exe, run it and follow the instructions.FIX FOR CPU SPEED If you run a Processor whose speed is higher than 1,2 GHz, download gpl_cpufix_italian.exe, run it and follw the instructions.CORE.INI FILE DOWNLOAD Download core.ini and copy it into C:/Sierra/gpl directory.Now run GPL, go to section Options and select Graphics; select "Direct3D" in "Hardware Accelerator" field. Exit from the game, run GPL again and check if everithing is working fine, running a Training session. |

GPL is the best for Online Racing, fighting with other drivers in internet. Basic conditions are to have a modem and a stable connection to Internet. ANTI DISCONNECT FIX You can find it here; run it and follow the instructions.VROC To run online, go to WinVroc download WinVROCSetup2100.exe and run it to install WinVROC. Then, copy file Vroc.ini into Vroc/WinVroc dir.Run VROC, configure gpl.exe path and have fun racing against pilots from all over the world !!! |

GEM+2 INSTALLATION To install other MODS, you have to install GEM+2 first. Latest release at today 17/06/2006 is rev. 4.22 and you can download it from HERE. After installation, let GEM+2 know your GPL Directory. |

1965 MOD INSTALLATION To install 65MOD v2.0, go to 65 MOD Homepage and download FULL MOD. Then run it and point to GPL directory during setup for proper installation. To activate it, run GEM+2, push "Carsets" button, select and bring "GPL65 (1965 F1)" Carset into active carsets field by clicking on ">" button; then press "OK". |
